✏️ IELTS Academic Writing
Writing
60 minutes in total. Task 1 is worth one third of the Writing score; Task 2 is worth two thirds. The four assessment criteria are Task Achievement, Coherence & Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range & Accuracy.
Each active route includes original practice, an explained answer or an annotated model to study before writing a complete response.
Official format versus WeLearn strategy
Official format: IELTS Academic Writing has two tasks: Task 1 describes visual information in at least 150 words, and Task 2 answers an essay question in at least 250 words.
