You want
You want to keep the car overnight for a safe repair and give a temporary transport solution the customer can actually use.
You can't
- Release the car with the warning light active.
- Install the old sensor again; it produced the original fault.
- Promise a final repair time before the supplier confirms the replacement part.
Only you know
- The workshop has one small loan car available from 6:30 p.m.
- Your manager can pay for a licensed taxi before then, up to 45,000 pesos.
- If the part arrives before 9:00 a.m., the customer’s car can be ready around noon tomorrow.
If you finish with nothing
The customer leaves angry without transport, while the car remains locked in the workshop anyway. The complaint will show no attempt to reduce the delay.

The repair may remain unfinished. Close only when both people repeat:
- Why the customer’s car stays in the workshop.
- The taxi today: destination, deadline and who pays.
- The loan car: collection time, authorized driver, return rule and fuel.
- The supplier update time and what happens in each part-arrival branch.
Success: You gave the failed test and missed promise directly, kept the unsafe car, and did not invent a repair time. You offered transport within authority and set a supplier update with two possible branches.
