You want a safe way to reach your guesthouse tonight. A company minibus is still on the platform and its driver is preparing to leave.
You can't
- Pay more than 70,000 pesos tonight; the rest of your travel money is in a locked account.
- Walk outside the terminal to find an informal car.
- Arrive after 10:30 p.m.; the guesthouse reception closes and you do not have a room key.
Only you know
- Your guesthouse owner offered to meet you at the Barichara petrol station if you can get that far.
- A registered taxi app shows no cars, but the terminal office has a list of licensed drivers.
- You can stay in San Gil, but your prepaid Barichara room is non-refundable.
If you finish with nothing
You lose the room payment and must find a safe hotel near the terminal. You will also need the first bus at 5:40 a.m.

A ride agreement is not required. Close only when both people can repeat:
- Why the company minibus is not an option.
- Which licensed contact or nearby hotel the passenger will try now.
- Who helps make that contact before 9:00 p.m.
- The morning bus time and ticket-office time if tonight’s option fails.
Success: You asked why the minibus could not take you, tried one shorter destination, and stopped asking when the restriction remained. Even without a ride agreement, you obtained a safe contact or a confirmed hotel-and-morning plan.
