Any new storage rule must preserve access and accountability

Neutral and safety-focused. A resident proposes reorganizing the shared room. They start. About 10 turns · 8 minutes.

Your screen only. Don't show it. Separate useful storage from blocked access, abandoned items and private enforcement.

Tu información

Lo que sabes y lo que necesitas

Where you are

You administer a room used for bicycles, strollers and labeled household boxes. The central path has narrowed and several items have no owner.

You want

You want a rule that keeps emergency access clear, identifies every item and removes abandoned property through a fair process.

You can't

  • Let residents throw away another person’s property.
  • Give one volunteer unrestricted access to all storage records and keys.
  • Approve shelves or charging equipment before checking safety requirements.

Only you know

  • Six items have no label and three have not moved for more than a year.
  • The building can issue numbered tags and keep owner names in a private register.
  • The owners’ handbook allows removal after two written notices and thirty days with no response.

If you finish with nothing

The path keeps shrinking, owners remain unknown and any cleanup risks unfair disposal or conflict.

Cuándo terminar

Closing criterion

Close when both people record the same nine details:

  1. The four marked zones.
  2. The 90-centimeter route and protected door/panel areas.
  3. The ban on lithium-battery charging in the room.
  4. The 21-day tag deadline.
  5. The coded tag and private-register fields.
  6. Volunteer tasks and information access.
  7. Administration’s notice and removal authority.
  8. The six-month renewal cycle.
  9. The owner of evidence for the 45-day inspection.
Success: You create accountable storage without public owner names or volunteer disposal. The final rule defines tags, zones, clearance, review cycle, notices and limited volunteer access.

Después de hablar

Conversen sobre cómo les fue

  1. ¿Qué información necesitaban las personas voluntarias y qué información debía seguir privada?
  2. ¿Cómo cambió la propuesta después de conocer el ancho obligatorio y la regla de baterías?
  3. ¿Por qué un plazo de etiquetas no autorizaba retirar objetos inmediatamente?
  4. Resuman quién marca, quién registra, quién notifica y quién puede retirar.
