Firm and businesslike. Your opening has a fixed time, but the menus carry your brand. You start. About 8 turns · 7 minutes.

Tu información

Lo que sabes y lo que necesitas

Where you are

You are at the print shop where you ordered two hundred menus for a new restaurant. You came for the promised quality check before paying the second half, and you expect production to begin today.

You want

You want usable menus before the first lunch service, with the dark blue logo your partner approved. You can accept two deliveries, but you need enough copies on every table when the doors open.

You can't

  • Accept purple-looking logos on all two hundred menus. The restaurant signs and online pages already use dark blue.
  • Move the restaurant opening. Staff, food deliveries and the first reservations are already confirmed.
  • Pay the remaining half before seeing a final sample. This was written on the order, and the color problem makes the check more important.

Only you know

  • You need only forty menus for Thursday lunch; the rest can arrive Friday. Saying this too early may make the full order a low priority.
  • A local copy shop can make forty simple black-and-white sheets tonight for 48,000 pesos. It is an ugly but usable backup.
  • Your business partner will reject lighter paper unless the discount pays for the temporary copies. The partner can answer the phone once at 12:15.

If you finish with nothing

Guests arrive without readable prices, or you pay another shop without knowing when this order will be ready. You could also lose the deposit if both shops produce the same emergency copies.

Ayuda común

Use blocks 1 [asks], 2, 5, 6 and 8. Insist on the deadline with quantities. Forty and two hundred are different problems.

Cuándo terminar

Closing criterion

This conversation may end without a final print decision. It closes only with the same answer to these questions:

  1. What paper or color result is not acceptable.
  2. The minimum number of menus and the real deadline.
  3. The next checkpoint: exact time, who calls, and what information they bring.
  4. What happens if the correct paper arrives — and what happens if it does not.
Success: You separated the minimum forty from the full order, protected the logo and final-sample condition, and asked for evidence. You accepted no vague delay: the result includes an update time and what happens after each possible answer.

Después de hablar

Conversen sobre cómo les fue
